Testing the iSavi Personal Broadband Terminal in the Moroccan Desert

Recently the BBC News Group tested the Wideye iSavi terminal, using the Inmarsat IsatHub service in a remote Moroccan desert location.  The test was to determine if the team could go into the middle of nowhere and have connectivity at a cost comparable or less than a terrestrial service even if 3G or 4G was available.  The results are not surprising!  Using any smart phone, the team is able to connect via satellite sending voice, text, and data at 200 to 300 kbps.
